Chinese‑English Interpreter

SMEC is seeking a qualified Chinese‑English Interpreter, based in Pasig, Philippines. The role involves providing technical interpretation for civil engineering, hydropower, and dam projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Hydropower, or a related field.
  • Professional fluency in Mandarin and English.
  • 5+ years of experience in hydropower or dam projects.
  • 2+ years of technical interpretation (Chinese–English).
  • Familiarity with engineering project documentation standards.
  • Fluent in written and verbal Chinese and English.
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
