A rare opportunity exists for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our well-established Maintenance team at our Dawson Mine CHPP in Moura, QLD. The Dawson operation is a large open-cut coal mining operation with one of the largest Coal Handling and Preparation Plants in Australia.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Mechanical Supervisors oversees Scheduled and ad-hoc mechanical maintenance functions within the coal handling preparation plant (CHPP) in order to optimise the performance of the CHPP process in accordance with the business plan.

The CHPP Mechanical Supervisor’s key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Manage all aspects of Equipment Maintenance including Preventative Maintenance, Modular Maintenance, Fault Finding, Rebuilds, Repairs, and Commissioning.
