About the role: We are currently seeking an experienced Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) Operator Maintainer at our Wilpinjong mine. Our Wilpinjong Mine is an open-cut mine located 58 kilometres northeast of Mudgee producing a high quality thermal coal for export and domestic markets. We have a mine life currently in the 2030s and are exploring options and designs to expand that for another decade. Reporting to the CHPP Shift Supervisor, the scope of your role will be to operate all areas of the Coal Preparation plant in line with production schedules whilst working within a small crew. The majority of trade work is completed by external contractors on planned regular shutdowns, so this is more of a processing and first pass maintaining / trade role with good variety.
