Description:

We are looking for an experienced Cisco SD-LAN Deployment Engineer to oversee the complete deployment of LAN infrastructure, with a focus on Cisco SD-Access (SD-LAN) technologies. This role involves hands-on work in planning, configuring, and implementing campus network solutions, as well as client-facing responsibilities during deployment and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the deployment of Cisco SD-LAN infrastructure in enterprise LAN environments.
• Manage configuration and operation of access, distribution, and core switches, including fabric edge, border, and control plane nodes.
• Design and implement underlay routing (IS-IS/OSPF) and overlay technologies (VXLAN, LISP, SGT) within SD-Access fabric.
• Deploy and configure Cisco DNA Center, including automation templates, network hierarchy, and fabric provisioning.
• Integrate Cisco ISE for policy-based segmentation using SGTs and TrustSec.
• Set up and validate fabric-enabled wireless networks (WLC and APs).
• Configure Fusion Nodes to connect SD-LAN fabric with external networks.
• Conduct site readiness assessments, create HLD/LLD documentation, and perform testing and validation.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues at L2/L3 and overlay layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration points.
• Prepare deployment runbooks, configuration guides, and documentation for knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Expertise in Cisco campus switching (Catalyst 9K, 3K, etc.).
• Strong experience with ISE and Firewalls.
• Deep understanding of Cisco SD-Access / SD-LAN architecture and components.
• Hands-on experience with LISP, VXLAN, SGTs, VRFs, IS-IS/OSPF/BGP.
• Experience with network automation using DNA Center templates and APIs.
• Solid knowledge of LAN (wired and wireless), IP addressing, routing/switching, and network security policies.
