Purpose of the Role

The Cisco Voice Engineer provides dedicated engineering and operational support for a single enterprise client’s Cisco Unified Communications environment. This role is embedded with the client and focused exclusively on maintaining, supporting, and improving the client’s voice infrastructure and related services.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day engineering and operational support for the client’s Cisco Voice platforms, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), UCCX, Cisco CUBE, SIP-based voice services, and Akkadian
  • Act as a senior technical resource supporting the client’s voice operations and engineering teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex voice issues in a production enterprise environment, including coordination with Cisco TAC as required
