Role Overview:

The Citrix Lead Engineer will be responsible for Citrix architecture, platform operations, continuous improvement initiatives, and advanced engineering support. This role will lead the Citrix function and work closely with leadership, internal IT teams, and business stakeholders.

Title: Citrix Lead Systems Engineer

Experience:

• 8–10+ years of enterprise Citrix experience
• 3–5+ years in a senior or team lead role

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead and support Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops / DaaS platforms
• Architecture, design, implementation, and enterprise-scale operations
• NetScaler / Citrix ADC (Gateway, Load Balancing, GSLB, HA, DR)
• Advanced troubleshooting, RCA, and escalation-level support
• Platform monitoring, capacity planning, and performance baselines
• Documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and service desk materials
• Mentoring and coaching team members
• Lead internal projects and recommend technical solutions

Technical Skills:

• Citrix VAD, Citrix ADC / NetScaler
• Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, TCP/IP, PKI/SSL
• Profile Management (FSLogix required;
  Ivanti UWM/AppSense preferred)
• Printer delivery and driver management
• PowerShell scripting and REST APIs
• Authentication protocols (LDAP, SAML)
• SSL certificate management (OpenSSL)
