Civil and structural Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D structural models in SP3D for steel and concrete structures, foundations, offshore/FPSO modules, and equipment support structures.
• Prepare 2D design deliverables such as:
• General Arrangement (GA) drawings
• Structural steel layouts and connection details
• RC detailing and foundation drawings
• Offshore platform/module structural drawings
• Generate Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and Bill of Materials (BOMs) from SP3D models.
• Coordinate with Civil/Structural Engineers to incorporate design inputs and calculations into detailed drawings.
• Work collaboratively with other disciplines (Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Process) to resolve model clashes and design conflicts.
• Participate in 3D model reviews , clash checks, and design optimization activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, design standards (AISC, API, BS, ISO, Eurocodes), and safety guidelines.
• Review vendor drawings and integrate relevant structural details into the SP3D environment.
• Provide support to construction teams by preparing as-built drawings and responding to technical queries.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality of all design outputs while following company drafting standards and procedures.
