Job Role : Civil Design Engineer -(Oil & Gas Project)

Training Location: Vadodara

Work Location: Saudi

Experience: 10+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design of substation components (e.g., control buildings, transformer foundations, cable trenches, gantry towers).
• Prepare and review design documents, structural drawings, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with internal teams, site engineers, clients, and consultants for approvals and clarifications.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards (IS, IEC, etc.).
• Optimize quantities while meeting project and client requirements.
• Support pre-bid engineering, prepare DBRs and DCIs, and participate in technical discussions.

Technical Expertise:

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering / M.Tech in Structural, Geotech, or Environmental Engineering
• Experience in substation/switchyard civil design for sectors like power, oil & gas, cement, etc.
• Knowledge of RCC, steel structures, geotechnical aspects, drainage, and road works.
• Familiar with GIS/AIS substations, topography, soil reports, and environmental factors.
• Understanding of vendor drawings and fabrication/detailed drawings.

Software Proficiency:

• STAAD, ETABS (Analysis & Design)
• AutoCAD, REVIT (Drafting Preferred)
• TEKLA (Structural Detailing Preferred)
• MS Office Suite
