Civil Designer

The Opportunity

BluMetric is looking for a dynamic full-time Civil Designer (2D and 3D CAD) to join our multidisciplinary team. This position will be responsible for working with a disciplinary team to take innovative design solutions from proposal stage through to constructed projects for clients in a wide variety of sectors. This is a future vacancy within the organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Preparation of civil drawings and details from conception to final design in a 3D modelling environment such as Civil 3D, according to established standards and procedures for a wide variety of sites, including linear utility modelling, site grading and site servicing plan modelling/design.
• Preparation of preliminary and detailed design drawings covering all facets of Civil engineering.
• Providing input and knowledge on civil design best practices.
• Providing input on design elements.
