We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team, focusing on roadway construction projects for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, local governments, contractors, and land developers. The candidate will support project managers in surveying, staking, layout, and inspection tasks. Proficiency in Civil 3D is essential for estimating quantities of materials such as asphalt, concrete, gravel, and earthworks.
Responsibilities

+ Support project managers in surveying, staking, layout, and inspection tasks.

+ Utilize Civil 3D for estimating quantities of asphalt, concrete, gravel, and earthworks.

+ Focus on roadway construction projects for various governmental and private entities.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

+ 4+ years of experience in civil engineering.

+ Proficiency in Civil 3D.

+ Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license or in the process of obtaining one.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in estimating material quantities for construction projects.

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment
The position is based primarily in the field, with 90% of work occurring outside the office. Candidates will preferably work out of the EC office, with typical hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Travel is mainly within a one-hour radius, primarily in the northeast region, with the furthest south being Milwaukee (MKE). The company offers a smaller family feel and believes in balancing work, family, and life, providing scheduling flexibility, especially during the winter months. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
