Job Description

Develop detailed project schedules using software like Primavera P6, MS Project, or Excel.

Prepare work breakdown structures (WBS) and define project milestones.

Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently to meet deadlines.

Monitor project progress and update schedules to minimize delays.

Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and management to ensure timely execution Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and rate analysis for project budgeting.

Estimate material, labor, and equipment costs based on project specifications.

Analyze market rates and prepare cost comparisons for procurement.

Identify cost variations, deviations, and additional expenses during project execution. Perform detailed quantity take-off (QTO) from architectural and structural drawings.

Prepare Material Reconciliation Statements (MRS) to track material consumption.

Ensure procurement aligns with the project budget and prevents wastage.Maintain records of project estimates, BOQs, budget approvals, and work progress reports.

Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and productivity reports for management.

Ensure compliance with contract terms, government norms, and safety regulations.
