Field Quality Engineer- Civil

Location: Bikaner, Rajasthan

Qualification (Essential): 
  • 4-6 yrs of experience in handling Field Quality Inspection (Civil) of Power Transmission & Distribution/Renewable /Oil &Gas projects.
  • Min 2 yrs of experience in handling Field Quality Inspection (Civil) of Solar projects.
  • Knowledge of codes &standards pertaining to material testing & civil construction.

  • Implementation of FQP & SOP's -Civil & Structural.
  • Initiate source approval of construction materials.
  • Initiate & Witness construction material testing & Design Mix.
  • Ensure functioning of site material testing laboratory.
  • Inward material inspection & Periodic testing at site lab.
  • Conduct training for Contractor supervisors & workmen.
  • Inspection of Rebar, Formwork & Concrete pouring at Switchyard, Control rooms & Transformer foundation.
  • Ensure Quality control of concrete.
  • Inspection of Concrete pile foundations /MMS Erection & Module mounting Inspection of Cable trench, Road, Drainage & Boundary wall.
  • Identify gaps, Initiate NCR (Non- Conformity Report) and suggest corrective measures to prevent its recurrence.
  • Close coordination with customer quality team to understand their concerns (Least Satisfied Areas/ Scope for Improvement)
  • Develop shared platform for Best Construction Practices/ Recurring quality issues, if any.
  • Reporting Non-Conformance, Identifying Route Cause and recommending corrective actions & Verification of corrective action.
