Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for supervising and monitoring all civil building activities at the project site including structural works, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, false ceiling, painting, and other finishing activities. Ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety norms, and timely completion of all activities. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, QC, planning, and safety teams to ensure seamless execution and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Execution & Monitoring

  • Execute and monitor all building and finishing works as per approved drawings, technical specifications and method statements.
  • Ensure correct line, level, plumb, and finishing quality across activities like blockwork, plaster, tiles, painting, carpentry, ceiling etc.
  • Verify and ensure proper shuttering, reinforcement, concrete operations and curing.

    • Quality Assurance & Documentation

  • Ensure 100% compliance with QA/QC checks and maintain quality records (Checklist, MIR, WIR, cube testing, etc.).
  • Coordinate with Quality Team for inspections and approvals.
  • Monitor material quality and ensure material is used as approved.

    • Planning & Progress Monitoring

  • Track daily progress and report delays, risks, and material shortages.
  • Prepare DPR, WPR and support planning team for look-ahead schedules.
  • Ensure work is completed within planned timelines.

    • Safety Compliance

  • Ensure implementation of safety norms at site and compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Report unsafe acts/conditions and implement corrective actions.

    • Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with subcontractors to achieve daily targets.
  • Liaise with design, planning, safety, stores, and procurement teams for smooth workflow.
  • Attend site meetings and present progress status.

    • Material & Resource Management

  • Raise material indent in advance and ensure optimum utilization.

    • Monitor manpower productivity and deploy resources effectively.
