VE Group is expanding across Queensland and seeking experienced Site Engineers to support our civil, road, and infrastructure projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a VE Group Site Engineer, you will play a key role in project planning, delivery and quality outcomes. You will work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and Civil & Transport teams to ensure safe, efficient and compliant project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and delivery of civil construction works
  • QA documentation, ITPs, NCR management and record keeping
  • Surveying, set-out and as built verification
  • Subcontractor coordination and daily site support
  • Monitoring production, cost tracking and progress reporting
  • Supporting procurement, scheduling and project administration
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • Strong background in civil construction with 3+ years in civil construction
  • Experience with subcontractor management, HSE compliance and quality control
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards, codes and environmental regulations
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage daily priorities
  • Problem solving and risk management on site
  • Strong communication, planning and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively on a FIFO roster across Southeast Queensland and Central Queensland regions
