Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Civil & Structural - Consultant - Geo Technical with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector for Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
The Role
Must have exposure to Review and interpret the Geotechnical investigation report for various recommendation in executing civil works Experienced in providing foundation recommendations for oil & gas plant structures and equipment Experienced in providing soil improvement including band drains & Stone columns techniques Expert in slope stability analysis and design including shore protection/ water seepage study Must have sound working experience in using Indian, Euro and American standards for Geo Technical works. Thorough experience in production of deliverables such as General arrangement drawings for Geo technical works, Detail drawings & supporting Calculations for slope stability and soil improvement techniques. Should have experience on constructability review. Exposure to American petroleum Industry & OISD requirement for Civil & Geotechnical works will be plus point. What we can offer

Years of experience: 20Yrs-35Yrs
Graduate Engineer with minimum 20 years’ experience in Geo technical engineering, should be conversant with international codes and standards. Major experience (more than 15 years) should be from Geo Technical Engineering. Experience in PMC role handling Geo technical works independently is essential. Work exposure to 3D tools (PDS/PDMS) and discipline software such as Staad /SAP etc. required for soil & structure interaction analysis Experiences Rock anchor and dynamic foundation soil interaction Hands on experience on proposal estimate including man hour estimate, Cost & Quantity estimate Communication and Management skills to handle Client & Construction contractor is required. Master’s degree in Geo Technical engineering works preferred. undefined
