Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Civil Structural WTG Foundation Design Expert for one of our clients engaged in the Power Industry. This is a full-time position located in Bengaluru, requiring 7 to 10 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and designing wind turbine foundations, ensuring quality and optimization in all structural projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in structural analysis with significant exposure to wind turbine foundations.
• Proven expertise in designing and optimizing WTG foundations for various environmental conditions.
• Strong background in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on integrating it into structural foundation designs.
• Ability to utilize design optimization techniques to improve cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Proficient in quality assurance standards and practices, ensuring compliance in all project phases.
• Competent in conducting and interpreting risk assessments to mitigate potential project risks effectively.
• Experience working in a senior-level position, showcasing leadership skills and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of wind turbine generator (WTG) foundations while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct structural analysis and design calculations for wind turbine foundations.
• Collaborate with geotechnical engineers to ensure integration of soil properties into structural designs.
• Implement design optimization strategies to enhance foundation performance and reduce costs.
• Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure all designs meet regulatory and safety guidelines.
• Perform detailed risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for potential project risks.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior engineers in the team.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met.
