Civil Technologist/Auto Cad Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of engineering designs, drawings, specifications, cost estimates and tender documents for projects such as potable water, septic, stormwater management plans, site grading and drainage systems.
• Routine site inspections and construction administration.
• Onsite Septic Design including soil analysis, site assessments and associated regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with contractors, clients and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong Civil 3D, Auto Cad and technical writing skills.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in civil design and construction.
• Registration as an A.Sc.T. or other technical accreditation is an asset.
• Independent thinker and problem solver who is self-motivated and able to bring an attention to detail to their work.
• An interest to learn and become familiar with numerous projects and client needs.
