Claims Specialist

We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Claims Counsel, Specialized Lines, E&O D&O. The role may be converted to Claims Counsel depending on candidate experience. Reporting to the Specialised Lines Claims team, as the Senior E&O D&O Claims Counsel – Quebec, you will, as a claims expert, assist the client in professional liability and directors and officers liability claims, analyze claim admissibility, conduct the investigation to determine potential responsibility of the insured and/or third parties, assess damages claimed and negotiate, if appropriate, a settlement, while ensuring exceptional client service at every step. In conjunction with our lawyers, you will handle litigated files, develop strategies, and consider alternative dispute resolution methods in these files.
