Overview
Context And Mission In the framework of its programs for the valorization and transfer of research results, the Barcelona Supercomputing Center is coordinating CLARIAH-CAT, one of the new R&D&I networks from Xarxes R+D+DI Programme (AGAUR), focused in Digital Humanities. The network includes the main digital humanities’ research groups from all Catalan universities, as well as public administrations and companies from the sector and civil society. Its goal is to share data, tools, and standards, and to transfer research results to education, culture, and the cultural industry. Inspired by and connected to European research infrastructures such as CLARIN and DARIAH, CLARIAH-CAT acts as the Catalan node linking methods and resources in language technologies, digitization (2D/3D), computer vision, GIS, and cultural heritage management.
