Pertemps are recruiting Class 2 Home Delivery Drivers on behalf of our prestigious client, a global market leader in logistics. Based in Doncaster, the role supports a nationwide home delivery operation for one of Britain’s largest retailers – providing the vital link between customers, stores and warehouses. 
Duties include: 
  • Home delivery of furniture to retail customers 
  • Multidrop deliveries as part of a 2-man team
  • Heaving lifting and manual handing
  • Planning delivery schedules and routes with transport managers 
  • Supervising/helping to load and unload goods 
  • Securing loads safely 
  • Following traffic reports and adjusting routes if required 
  • Completing delivery paperwork and logbooks 
    • Requirements: 
  • Valid HGV Class 2 (HGV C) licence 
  • No more than 6 points & free from serious endorsements (for insurance purposes) 
  • Valid DIGI & CPC card
