Class A CDL Driver

AZZ has an exciting 1st shift opportunity for a Class A CDL Driver at our Blacksburg South Carolina facility. Reporting to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor you will help deliver our steel products safely and on time, while maintaining great customer relationships. This is for daily routes (no OTR) only.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Will drive a tractor-trailer truck combination to transport and deliver goods to and from designated locations.
• Inspect and maintains vehicle supplies and equipment such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes to ensure that vehicle is in proper working condition.
• Utilize handheld computer to document incoming and outgoing loads.
• Obey traffic laws and follows established traffic and transportation procedures.
• May be required to load and unload material from trucks.
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
