Class A Day Driver
Department: Fuel Production (Grinding Yards)
Location: Birmingham, AL

National Salvage & Service Corporation is an industry leading specialty contractor and a growing company with a day shift opening for a truck driver at its Birmingham, AL, facility. This is a five-days-a-week job, home every day. Time and a half for overtime. DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Hauling railroad chips, metal and other material
+ Runs in Birmingham and surrounding areas
+ Able to work overtime in various weather conditions
+ Filling out daily paperwork using a smart phone, laptop or computer device
+ Working independently
Position-specific Competencies
+ Completely and accurately fill out daily paperwork
+ Basic mechanical knowledge in order to make small repairs (change hydraulic hose, grease and lube, safety walk around inspection)
+ Follow all Safety Program, Policies and Procedures
+ Able to learn the basic use of a smartphone
+ Able to pass pre-employment drug test and random drug tests after hiring
+ Hold valid driver-s license
+ Class A CDL required (Manual Transmission)
