Why Drive for BlueLinx: 5 day work week, up to 2 nights out a week (nights out vary) No weekend work The position offers a fixed wage of $29.30 per hour, plus $1/hr premium pay for mountain driving Flatbed and Curtain Side trailers New safe and reliable equipment Amazing benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, prescription coverage Life Insurance 401K Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay Tuition reimbursement What You'll Deliver: Properly secure loads. NO tarping - ONLY strapping and chaining Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports Direct the unloading by customers, when required How You'll Deliver: Valid Class A CDL Minimum 21 years of age 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years Snowy mountain driving experience Chaining experience Safe Driving Record Ability to secure loads Ability to work in all weather conditions Proficient at chaining tires Our Values : With every decision and action, we put people first, keep the future in mind, and work as a team toward shared progress: • Customer Centric • Respect • Collaboration • Integrity • Grit About BlueLinx: BlueLinx (NYSE: BXC), a leading wholesale distributor of building and industrial products in the United States with over 70k branded and private-label SKUs, and a broad distribution footprint servicing 50 states.
