Job Description Class III FAB Machine Set-Up Operator Location: Albany, MO Shift: Weekend Night Shift (Friday-Sunday: 5PM-5AM) Pay: $21.15 $1.00 Shift Premium Position Summary You will set up and operate metal fabricating machines such as brakes, shears, raceways, and punches to cut, bend, straighten, and form metal plates, sheets, and structural shapes. The successful candidate will contribute to the production of high-performance products that support Johnson Controls’ mission of creating smarter, healthier environments. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include the Following: Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods, and sequence of operation. Select, position, and secure tooling and fixtures onto machine. Position and clamp stops, guides, and turntables.
