Classroom Based SEMH TA – Recent Graduates wanted!

Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a Secondary SEMH provision in Wythenshawe. The school provides a vibrant and supportive environment for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. These young people will have an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) to help them to engage with the curriculum.

Your role will be to provide mentorship and some academic support to Key stage 3 and 4 students. Ideally you will be drawing on still you have, from a background or studies in the following areas; health & social care, psychology, youth work, sports coaching.

If you have done placements as part of your course in a formal setting, or have supported students, or have any other experience of mentoring children and young adults paid or unpaid, wed love to hear from you.
