Role Overview
The Client Acquisition Lead – Digital Solutions is responsible for driving new business for Wonne by selling custom digital growth solutions to SME and mid-market companies.
Success in this role looks like:
- Independently identifying and converting new clients
- Owning deals end-to-end, from first conversation to post-sale coordination
- Building credibility with founders and business owners through problem-led conversations
- Consistently contributing to a healthy, growing revenue pipeline
You will work closely with Wonne’s founders , who bring 14+ years of hands-on experience across SaaS, technology, content, and performance marketing. This role offers direct exposure to their thinking, sales approach, and problem-solving frameworks, while giving you the autonomy to own outcomes on the ground.
This position sits at the core of Wonne’s growth engine and is ideal for someone who wants to learn, earn, and grow fast in an agency environment .
- Fixed CTC: This role has a fixed CTC cap of ₹8 LPA
- Additional Performance Incentives: 2% – 4% commission on monthly revenue closed , paid on realised collections
This structure is uncapped .
- There is no upper limit on incentives. Higher closures directly translate to higher earnings.
- Strong performers can meaningfully exceed their fixed pay through consistent over-performance, making the effective annual earnings significantly higher than the fixed CTC .
- This role is designed for candidates who value ownership, merit-based growth, and earning upside , not capped or entitlement-driven compensation.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through independent research and outreach.
- Initiate conversations with founders, business owners, and senior decision-makers.
- Own revenue targets through disciplined pipeline creation and deal closures.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle: prospecting, discovery, solutioning, proposal creation, negotiation, and closure.
- Stay involved post-sale to coordinate with internal teams and ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain accountability for client experience and long-term relationship value.
- Understand client business challenges before recommending solutions.
- Sell custom digital solutions across performance marketing, content, SEO, branding, and web/app development.
- Tailor proposals based on business model, growth stage, and client maturity.
- Build long-term client partnerships rather than one-off transactions.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on performance insights.
- Stay updated on digital platforms, trends, and competitive benchmarks through continuous learning.
- 3–6 years of B2B sales experience in a digital, marketing, creative, or growth agency environment.
- Prior experience selling digital services such as performance marketing, content, influencer campaigns, SEO, branding, or web/app solutions.
- Experience working with SME or mid-market clients, preferably founders or owner-led businesses.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage the full sales cycle independently.
- Comfortable selling custom, non-packaged solutions .
- Familiarity with CRM tools and basic sales reporting or pipeline tracking.
- High ownership and accountability for outcomes.
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, early-stage environments.
- Strong curiosity and self-learning mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly.
- Comfortable with performance-linked compensation and uncapped growth potential.
