Clinical Associate

A Clinical Research Associate (CRA), often referred to as a clinical monitor or trial monitor, is responsible for ensuring that clinical trials are conducted in compliance with study protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. They act as the primary liaison between the sponsor (pharmaceutical or medical device company) and the clinical trial sites (hospitals/clinics), overseeing data integrity and patient safety.
