Qualifications and Skills

• DHLS, BASLP, MASLP, or equivalent qualification
• Experience in Pure Tone Audiometry and Impedance Testing
• Skilled in patient consultation and hearing aid dispensing
• Ability to interpret audiometric results and create personalised care plans
• Strong communication skills to support and guide patients and their families
• Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest in audiology technology and care practices

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed hearing tests to identify and treat hearing problems
• Fit and fine-tune hearing aids based on each patient's needs
• Guide patients and their families on hearing care and how to use and maintain hearing devices
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide complete care
• Keep accurate records of patient visits and treatments
• Support and mentor junior team members to build a positive work environment
• Regularly check and adjust hearing aids to ensure best results for patients
• Take part in community programs to raise awareness about hearing health and prevention
