This highly recognized hospital is seeking a Clinical Electrophysiology Specialist for an exciting opportunity to influence a cutting-edge EP program and deliver life-changing cardiac care. The Clinical Electrophysiology Specialist will report to the Nurse Manager of Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Services and work closely with the Medical Director of Electrophysiology. Responsibilities include partnering daily with electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, anesthesia, imaging, and device specialists to deliver seamless procedures and outcomes. The Clinical Electrophysiology Specialist may precept newer technologists and students, contributing to a high-performing and supportive learning culture.

The Clinical Electrophysiology Specialist will join a high-energy hybrid EP/Cath environment with multiple procedure suites, advanced mapping platforms, and a steady mix of EP studies, complex ablations, and device implants. The Clinical Electrophysiology Specialist will experience a coordinated team of experienced RNs and technologists who value professionalism, rapid readiness, and meticulous patient care, including inpatient support such as sheath removal and IABP troubleshooting. 

In this role, the Clinical Electrophysiology Specialist performs scrub, circulate, and monitor responsibilities for EP procedures and device implants while ensuring accurate documentation, radiation safety, and hemodynamic assessment. Additional duties include leveraging modalities such as ICE, IVUS, FFR, RFR, and OCT; prepares rooms and equipment; and anticipates physician needs for complex interventions.
