Job Description
We are looking for a Cloud Application Developer with expertise in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and strong DevOps skills to join our fast-growing technology team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications on GCP, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and implementing infrastructure as code. This role requires a passion for automation and a collaborative approach to deliver secure, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and other developers to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting with Stackdriver, Prometheus, or similar tools.
- Ensure applications are secure, reliable, and cost-efficient in the cloud environment.
- Support containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
Skills Required:
- Hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, GKE, etc.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and tools.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, containerization, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and security practices in the cloud.
- GCP Certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Developer or DevOps Engineer) are a big plus.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and API management is a plus.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
