Core Responsibilities

  • Create, design and review architecture solutions to meet the technical and functional requirements.
  • Provide scalable, reliable technical architecture for the proposed solutions
  • Identify, communicate and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions throughout full lifecycle.
  • Setup Data dog dashboards and monitoring.
  • Assist with the design and development of a multi-account, multi-region, highly available and highly automated Azure environment to support full software development life cycle and production of mission-critical applications
  • Building up Infrastructure monitoring capabilities.
  • Enforce Best Cloud Security Practices to the application.
  • Proactively mitigate business service disruptions with designed redundancy, backups, and highly available solutions
  • Work together with development team to advise/design/define better scalability, reliability, and CI/CD mechanism.

    • Required Skills

  • 8+ years of relevant professional system engineering or administration experience, with significant exposure to a variety of technologies and domains
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience migrating and deploying Azure cloud-based solutions
  • 3+ years architecting, implementing and supporting Azure infrastructure and topologies
  • Experience implementing and maintaining security for cloud-based systems and applications in GCP
  • 5+ years of advanced working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience in designing Cloud ready Microsoft-centric solutions based on industry standards using Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities.
  • Design and architect Container based solutions using AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
  • Extensive Knowledge of Azure Services (AKS/Azure Key Vault/Azure Service Bus/MS SQL)
  • Extensive HANDS ON knowledge on Data Dog.
  • Experience with setting up Kubernetes Clusters in production.
  • Highly Skilled with Terraform.
  • Experience in setting up complex architecture, which complies with HA/DR/Scalability.
  • Experience in building a secure solution on the cloud.
  • Awareness of standard data and security compliances (like GDPR, NIST etc.).

    • Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
  • Experience with Database Design and setting them up on cloud.
  • Experience with configuration Management and orchestration tools such as Ansible.
  • Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, SQL, .NET, etc.
  • Experience working with Architects. Engineering Managers and CTO’s.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant industry trends and standards.
