Job Description:
Responsibilities of this Role
• Design, implement and support cloud infrastructure
• Design, implement and support Kubernetes workloads
• Develop standard IaC templates
• Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools
• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Incident management and root cause analysis
• Azure or AWS experience; experiences with Cloud Service continuous delivery systems
• Mentoring and guiding the team members
• Source control experience (such as GitHub)
• Experience in Designing & Implementing infrastructure as code
• Assist application teams with onboarding to container application platforms in areas such as resource requirements, capacity analysis, and troubleshooting support
• Azure/AWS provisioning, configuration management, storage management, network management, and virtualization
• Create the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) automation infrastructure to support the project engineering team
• Developing and improving standards for security (via security as code) across a continuous delivery environment and cloud-based production deployments
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack, Datadog, New Relic or AWS CloudWatch.
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), along with expertise in secrets management using tools like HashiCorp Vault and AWS Secrets Manager.
• Proficiency with modern CI/CD platforms including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD or Spinnaker.
• Practical experience with Docker, Helm and a solid understanding of service mesh architectures.
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related degrees
• Fluent in English
• 3+ years of experience designing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS and GCP
• Deep experience on IaC using Terraform
• Deep experience working with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE)
• Deep experience on CI/CD tool like Jenkins
• Expertise in software code deployment procedures
• Scripting experience on tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet
• Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
• Excellent understanding on programming languages such as Ruby, Python and Perl
• Expertise on Databricks
