Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Control Tower, organizational structure design, and automation. The candidate will be responsible for helping replace the existing x BOT-based provisioning solution with a cloud-native approach using AWS Control Tower and Cloud Formation. The role also requires the ability to understand and enhance existing Python automation code used in Jenkins pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the migration from the current x BOT provisioning solution to a native AWS solution using AWS Control Tower / Cloud Formation (CFT)
Design and set up a new AWS Organization , including accounts, guardrails, SCPs, and landing zones
Drive AWS organization separation activities, ensuring minimal impact and proper governance
Understand and maintain the existing Python code integrated with x BOT in Jenkins pipelines
Develop automation scripts to integrate Control Tower workflows and enhance provisioning automation
Collaborate with platform, security, and cloud teams to standardize account provisioning and governance
Ensure best practices for security, compliance, and operational excellence
Troubleshoot cloud provisioning issues and optimize automation workflows
Prepare documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with AWS Control Tower , AWS Organizations, and Landing Zone setup
Experience in AWS Org separation / restructuring
Proficiency in AWS Cloud Formation (CFT) or Terraform
Strong Python scripting experience, especially in automation frameworks
Experience working with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
Good understanding of IAM, SCPs, VPC, networking, and cloud security best practices
Familiarity with automation around multi-account governance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience migrating from custom provisioning tools (such as x BOT) to AWS-native solutions
AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect / Dev Ops Engineer / Sys Ops Administrator)
Knowledge of Lambda, Step Functions, and Event-driven automation
Experience in large enterprise cloud environments, especially in regulated industries
