Cloud Engineering

• Experience working with offshore outsourcing organizations.
• Experience in global roll‑out management.
• Implementation experience of infrastructure tools (monitoring, backup, provisioning…).
• Strong shell scripting experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in domain.
• Level of education/qualifications normally required: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
• Distinctive qualifications relating to the candidate’s area of expertise.
• Desirable to have one or more of the following:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate level or above
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate level or above
• Technical / functional skills:
  • Expert in infrastructure operations, performance tuning and lifecycle management.
  • Expert knowledge of cloud providers’ service offerings (mostly PaaS and IaaS).
  • Strong working knowledge of micro‑services and optimization of cloud‑hosted systems primarily in AWS.
  • Experience working with APIs, CLI and SDKs.
  • Understanding of application lifecycle management.
  • Experience with at least one high‑level programming language (e.g. Python).
  • Experience with continuous integration and distribution pipelines.
  • Developing, deploying, debugging cloud infrastructures with the ability to define scalable, highly available, fault‑tolerant architecture.
  • Experience working with containers in the development process.
  • Strong working knowledge in automation tools and associated optimizations.
  • Broad understanding of main business applications: SAP, Oracle, COMMAND, APEX, etc., and their relationship to the ERP(s).
  • Knowledge of licensing mechanisms and compliance for Microsoft, Oracle, and other key software providers.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Broad understanding of ITIL, ITSM and industry best practices.
  • Ability to understand and deliver infrastructure services provided on a 24×7×365 basis.
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
