Requirements

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design and lead the architecture of cloud solutions for

government ministries and departments. The ideal candidate will create secure, scalable, and

highly available cloud architectures, ensuring that solutions are aligned with the government's

long-term digital transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures for government

departments, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.

• Collaborate with government ministries/departments to assess requirements and design cloud

solutions that meet project needs.

• Lead the selection of cloud platforms, tools, and services based on specific project

requirements.

• Oversee the technical design and ensure that all cloud solutions are architected for high

availability, disaster recovery, and performance.

• Review and optimize existing cloud architectures to improve performance, security, and cost-

efficiency.

• Provide technical leadership for cloud-related projects, guiding teams on cloud architecture

best practices and standards.

• Ensure the integration of cloud solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Minimum B.E./ B.Tech./ MCA/ M.Tech or four years graduate program in Computers/IT or

equivalent from a recognized university /institute.

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in cloud architecture and solution design.

• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

• Strong experience in designing cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and cost-

efficiency.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud security, data protection, and regulatory compliance.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud solutions on time and

within budget.

• Experience working with government or public sector organizations is an advantage.

Desirable Skills:

• Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified:

Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc.).

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.

• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).

• Knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud strategies.

• Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives in the public sector.
