Cloud FinOps Analyst

Overview

We are looking for a FinOps Specialist to join our Technology department. This role will focus on managing Cloud cost optimization (AWS mainly, GCP, internal cloud), financial governance, and reporting, ensuring that cloud resources are used efficiently and cost-effectively. The FinOps Specialist will collaborate with the account owners, the cloud team, and the finance team to balance performance, cost, and business priorities.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Cloud Accounts management: create and categorize new cloud accounts in alignment with product lines and organizational standards. Ensure that the new accounts are properly allocated into categories/product lines and streamline the onboarding process (e.g., improve Jira request forms).
• Monitoring & Anomaly Detection: monitor daily usage vs. budget to detect anomalies in spend and volume. Alert account owners and infrastructure team when budgets are close to limits or unusual spi...
