Duration: 2 months
Rate: AS05 MARKET RATES
 
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Services Engineer to support a South Australian Government client on a short-term contract. This role sits within a shared services / OCIO environment and is responsible for delivering level 2 support across Microsoft 365 and associated cloud service offerings.
You will work closely with internal teams, external 3rd level support providers, and agency stakeholders to deliver reliable cloud and business application support while ensuring strong governance, documentation, and compliance.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd level support for business applications and cloud platforms, primarily Microsoft 365
  • Perform high-level tenancy administration activities across M365
  • Support request fulfilment and incident resolution in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
  • Gather and clarify business requirements to support effective solution delivery
  • Apply analytical and evaluative skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues

 
⭐ Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience working with Microsoft 365
  • Proven experience performing high-level M365 tenancy administration
  • Strong background in 2nd level support within a cloud or enterprise environment
  • Experience working in structured, process-driven environments (government or large enterprise highly regarded)
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
