Cloud Solution Architect

Penta Consulting are a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner helping to deliver professional and managed solutions across EMEA. We are currently looking for a Cloud Solution Architect in Barcelona to join our team on a Hybrid basis.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

• Design and deliver end-to-end cloud architectures using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services
• Build modern analytics platforms leveraging Fabric Power BI for reporting and visualization

Database & Data Platform Architecture

• Architect and optimize Azure SQL and SQL Server for performance, scalability, and high availability
• Integrate and manage open-source databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) within Azure environments

Cloud Strategy & Governance

• Define best practices for cloud adoption, security, compliance, and data governance
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure cloud solutions align with business objectives

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Fabric Power BI
• Proven expertise in Azure SQL and SQL Server administration and optimization
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL hosted on Azure

Nice to Have

• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and analytics solutions
• Knowledge of DevOps practices , CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep )
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders
