Job Description
The Cloud System Engineer Associate is responsible for delivering Cloud Operations services, including maintaining applications and technical environments, troubleshooting issues, applying configuration changes and patches, and managing data copies. This role supports high-availability, mission‑critical systems and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure service excellence.
A Day in the life- Operate in a 24x5x365 support environment, ensuring system uptime and reliability.
- Execute scheduled tasks and operational procedures within defined service and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve incidents, fulfill service requests, and support project delivery.
- Participate in training programs and assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members.
- Manage daily operational tasks following established processes and documentation standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
- Experience in system administration or cloud operations.
- Experience with Windows/Linux system administration.
- Experience in cloud computing platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- English communication skills—verbal and written.
- Experience documenting technical changes and automation efforts.
- Experience supporting ERP systems and workflow engine applications.
- Experience with Infor applications.
- AWS certification (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Associate-level).
- Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar languages; familiarity with AWS SDKs.
- Knowledge of IIS/Tomcat, Active Directory, databases, and operating systems.
- Experience in a customer service or client‑facing technical support role.
