We are looking for a skilled Cloudera Expert Developer to join our Analytics Offering.

DXC Analytics is focused on providing customers innovative solutions and high added value, in the following areas: Analytics Solutions and Services, Big Data Platforms, Information Governance, Business Intelligence & Data Management, Artificial Intelligence and IoT Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate will develop and maintain advanced data pipelines and solutions on the Cloudera/Hadoop stack, ensuring seamless integration and automation across environments through CI/CD pipelines.

  • You will work closely with architects, data engineers, and DevOps teams to build reliable, scalable, and efficient data processing systems that empower analytics and data-driven decision-making.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues within the Cloudera ecosystem.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of coding standards, development practices, and deployment automation.

    • Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Spark (Scala or PySpark) and Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, HDFS, Impala, Oozie, Kafka, etc.).

  • Solid hands-on experience with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) or similar Big Data platforms.

  • Proficiency with GitHub and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).

  • Familiarity with Linux-based environments and scripting (Bash, Python).

  • Experience in building scalable, distributed data processing systems.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

    • Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud integration (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for hybrid Cloudera deployments.

  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Exposure to data governance and security frameworks (Apache Ranger, Atlas).

  • Understanding of data quality, lineage, and metadata management.

  • Cloudera or Spark-related certifications.
