La Marquesa Golf in Alicante, Spain, was founded in 1989 by Justo Quesada as Quesada Golf Club and renamed in 1994 to La Marquesa Golf & Country Club. It’s an 18-hole, par72 parkland course set in a valley surrounded by mountains, featuring wide fairways, streams, lakes, bunkers, and palm-lined greens. Highlights include a replica of TPC Sawgrass’s island green on hole 16 and Spain’s first par6 hole (up to 644 m). Facilities include a clubhouse with restaurant and bar, pro shop, swimming pool, driving range, putting and chipping areas, practice bunker, and a golf school offering lessons.
