JD –
- Key Responsibilities
- This role will work alongside a dedicated CMS developer, and will collaborate with UX, design, and front-end engineer to ensure content structures support dynamic experiences. Responsibilities include:
- Design and implement structured content models optimized for reuse, automation, and multichannel publishing.
- Design and implement content types for UI microcopy, based on design components, to support data and dashboard visualisations.
- Lead the configuration and governance of a headless CMS platform (previous experience on Contentful, Contentstack or Sanity preferred).
- Define content types, relationships, and editorial workflows to support scalable publishing.
- Develop robust taxonomies and metadata frameworks to enable seamless integration between content and structured data sources.
- Ensure taxonomies support automated publishing workflows and personalized content delivery.
- Architect content systems that support delivery across web, PDF generation and emerging channels.
- Enable content reuse through modular design and intelligent tagging.
- Work closely with developers to integrate content systems into front-end architecture and ensure content delivery is optimised for performance and scalability.
- Establish content governance standards, editorial guidelines, and documentation for internal stakeholders.
- Mandatory experience
- Proven experience with headless CMS platforms and content modeling, with demonstrable examples of automated publishing.
- Extensive background in taxonomy development, metadata strategy, and structured content integration.
- Strong understanding of multichannel publishing workflows and content reuse strategies.
- Familiarity with JAMstack principles and modern web development practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working in agile environments and with cross-functional teams.
- Nice to have
- Experience with API-first content delivery and Graph QL.
- Knowledge of personalization engines and dynamic content rendering.
- Background in semantic content modeling and linked data principles.
