Job Description Job Description Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes) Load programs and make minor edits at the machine Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions Select tools, offsets, and fixtures Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic issues Maintain production documentation and follow safety procedures Requirements 2–5 years of CNC machining experience Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances Experience with G-code basics and CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, etc.) Knowledge of tooling, speeds, and feeds Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to lift materials (often up to 50 lbs) Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Preferred Skills Basic program editing (not full programming) Experience with multiple CNC machines Understanding of lean manufacturing or ...
