CNC Machine Operator - Sauk Rapids

We are seeking candidates for Machine Operator roles on 1st shift, 2nd shift, and weekend night shifts . Compensation for these opportunities ranges between $19.71-$28.02 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below for more information! 
What you’ll do as the Machine Operator:

• Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls or control media as required
• Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
• Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining
• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media
• Set up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data
• Confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems

What you need to be a Machine Operator:

• Must have at least 6 months of CNC machine operator experience
• Must have written and verbal communication skills in English
• High School Diploma or equivalent; a 2-year machining degree is preferred
• Familiarity with CMM, GD&T, and SPC
• Ability to verify specifications using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth micrometers
• Ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation
