Job Description Job Description CNC Machine Operator Location: Wethersfield, CT Reports To: Branch Manager Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join a Job Shop Fabrication and Machining operation. This role is responsible for machining ductile and steel pipe, including threading, fitting flanges, and operating manual machine tools such as lathes and threaders. The position also involves crane operation to move pipe in and out of machining centers. Key Responsibilities Maintain personal safety and promote the safety of team members Follow all safety policies and procedures Wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection Keep assigned work areas clean and organized Identify fabrication requirements for each piece of pipe Load, center, and secure pipe into machines for processing Machine tapered threads and verify measurements such as thread depth and taper Test flange fit and ensure proper threading Apply adhesive and use mac...
