:
The CNC Machinist – Programmer has experience with computer numerical control (CNC) machinery, programming, setup, and operation to produce high-quality precision parts. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet production goals.
Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate CNC machines such as mills and lathes to manufacture parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.Create and modify CNC programs using G-code, CAM software (such as AutoDesk inventor, or similar), and manual input as needed.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job and ensure proper setup of machines.Monitor machine operation, make necessary adjustments, and trou...
