CNC Machinist - Direct Hire

Location: Cincinnati, OH 45215
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Pay Range: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (Based on experience)

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist who specializes in Haas Vertical Mills to produce high-precision components. This is a first-shift opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in quality and efficiency.

 

Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Proven experience operating and setting up Haas Vertical Mills is required.
• Experience: 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a fabrication or job-shop environment preferred.
• Blueprint Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret complex industrial blueprints and GD&T symbols.
• Measurement Skills: Mastery of precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).

• Machine Operation: Set up and operate Haas Vertical Mills to produce high-quality metal parts according to technical specifications.
• Setup & Tooling: Perform efficient machine setups, including tool changes, offsets, and workholding adjustments to minimize downtime.
• Precision Quality Control: Use calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges to inspect first-piece and in-process parts, ensuring 100% conformance to blueprints.
• Process Optimization: Monitor machine performance and adjust speeds/feeds as necessary to maintain tool life and production standards.
• Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine daily maintenance on equipment and maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and fabrication teams to troubleshoot part programs and improve manufacturing workflows.
