CNC Machinist Programmer

Job Description Job Description Summary : The CNC Machinist/Programmer is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating high-precision CNC milling equipment to manufacture close-tolerance components for injection molds. This role involves creating and optimizing CNC programs, producing high-quality parts in hardened tool steels and graphite, and supporting the Tool Room in mold manufacturing and repair. Mold-making experience is preferred, and training is available for the right candidate. Essential Functions : Program complex 3-axis tool paths using Mastercam for mold components and electrodes. Utilize SolidWorks to interpret models, prepare geometry, and support programming requirements. Set up and operate CNC mills, including: Mikron Mill S 500 Haas VM2 Perform hard milling and high-speed machining operations on hardened tool steels with close-tolerance requirements.
