CNC Machinist / Programmer page is loaded## CNC Machinist / Programmerlocations: Concord, Ontariotime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 2 Days Agojob requisition id: JR **Responsibilities:*** Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.* Program CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc) using CAM software and machine control interfaces.* Set **up** machines by installing and aligning tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately.* Operate CNC machines to manufacture components to precise dimensions and tolerances.* Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.* Verify conformance of parts to specifications and make adjustments as necessary.* Perform routine maintenance and ensure equipment is kept in safe working condition.* Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve technical or process issues.* Optimize machining programs to improve efficiency, quality, and tool life.* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.* Support and practice KAIZEN principles and participate in related activities (GEAR).**Requirements:*** One year of equivalent experience and related education or an appropriate blend.* Mechanically inclined and knowledgeable with technical terms, machine components and definitions.* Previous experience working with maintenance and tool room departments.* Knowledgeable in PowerBI, MVP or other CMMS Software.* Good knowledge of production reporting systems.* Good technical report writing abilities and communication skills.* Excellent problem-solving techniques and methods.* Computer literacy and a sound knowledge in MS-Office applications and Outlook would be an asset, most critically Excel and PowerPoint for data manipulation.* Ability to successfully interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment.This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
