Job Description


Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC burn table equipment to cut steel plate according to engineering prints and specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints, cut lists, and job travelers to determine cutting requirements.
  • Set up and operate CNC burn table systems, adjusting speed, torch height, feed rate, and consumables.
  • Load and unload steel plates using overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Inspect and verify dimensions using calipers, tape measures, squares, and other precision tools.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including replacing consumables.
  • Maintain organized work area consistent with S standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
  • Other duties and projects may be assigned.
